Workflow is not triggering in D365 f&o.

Hi, 
I've set up a custom workflow for my custom form, which includes a status field. In the table's CanSubmitToWorkflow method, I've added a condition to trigger the workflow when the status is 'Draft'. Despite activating the workflow in the environment and creating a new record with the status set to 'Draft', the workflow still isn't triggering. Am I overlooking something

    Hi,

    Yes, I've done full build on model and not just the project.

    When I debug the other working workflow's canSubmitToWorkflow method it is debugging correctly.

    Yes, both the form patterns are same and properties are set correctly on the design for the workflows.

    When you mentioned you performed a full build, I do assume you build the model and not the solution or project. correct?
    Have you checked any possible differences on the form, e.g. is the form pattern the same for both?

    Can you debug the submit method for the workflow that is already working?

    The batch service is on, I tried debugging with both Batch.exe and iisexpress.exe together. Still the debugger is not getting hit on canSubmitToWorkflow method.

    if your batch service is on, then when u click attach to process, make sure you select these two together
    Batch.exe and iisexpress.exe

    Did you debug the canSubmitToWorkflow method and made sure it really returns true?
